Do You Stand With President Trump And The United States or With China?

The mainstream media and their pet pundits once again got everything wrong. Predictions that the world would engage in a tariff “war” with the United States have come to nothing.

Rather than engage in a quixotic fight to maintain a decades-old unfair advantage, the world is acknowledging that President Trump has successfully created a new era in global trade that will be based on genuine reciprocity.

The old system of preaching free trade while practicing protectionism to the detriment of the United States is over. All that remains is the hard work of negotiating the best possible deals with individual nations that each have a unique relationship with the United States.

The following nations have already begun the negotiation process:

–Japan

–Taiwan

–South Korea

–India

–Israel

–Malaysia

–Indonesia

–Cambodia

–Thailand

–Mexico

–EU

–UK

Taiwan and Israel have already said that they aim to have zero-tariff parity with the United States, which would mean that the genuine free flow of goods between these nations could occur with very limited barriers.

.Taiwan is the chip/semiconductor center of the world, while Israel is a major leader in tech and specifically biotech.

South Korea, meanwhile, looks to dramatically increase its purchases of US LNG (liquefied natural gas). Japan’s negotiation team is already in place to make historic deals, which will likely open Japan’s economy to historic levels of US goods.

Even Canada has admitted that it is now time to negotiate after putting up an unusually long fight against the inevitable. Australia, meanwhile, has already ruled out additional tariffs on the US.

There is, of course, one big holdout—China. Chinese leaders have vowed to “fight to the end” in order to preserve their unfair advantages in trade. China now faces tariffs of 104% on goods entering the world’s largest market.

China’s rabid reaction to President Trump’s desire for a fair relationship changes the entire dynamic of current trade talks. Support for or opposition to tariffs is no longer merely a theoretical matter or even a question of macroeconomics. It is now a question of patriotism.

Our elected officials must ask themselves a very important question, which ought to have a very simple answer: Are you on the side of the United States of America or on the side of the People’s Republic of China?

If China wants what they call a “fight to the end,” we must stand firm. We must support President Trump in his offer to the world to bring its factories to this great nation. State leaders must follow the President’s lead in historic regulation cuts that will unleash the dynamism of American manufacturing and innovation.

Congressional Republicans must also move more quickly to pass President Trump’s tax cuts, which are an essential part of the new economic system that President Trump has created. This is about fairness to the American people. It is time for us to reap the benefits of trade, rather than sit idly on the receiving end of rotten deals.

Tax and regulation cuts at home, tariffs abroad—this is the recipe for an economic boom.

As President Trump just said, “THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY!!!” I couldn’t agree more.

The world knows which way the wind is blowing. China, too, will eventually have to come to its senses, so long as our resolve remains firm. Great days are ahead. The only people who disagree are those who got tariffs wrong in President Trump’s first term. These are the people who wrongly cheered on NAFTA, China’s accession to the WTO, Sleepy Joe’s inflationary policies, and sky-high energy prices that are coming down at a rapid pace thanks to President Trump.

Stand by a winner. Stand by President Trump!
