As soon as the final balloons were popped at Harris/Walz campaign headquarters in November of 2024, I felt what millions of Americans felt on that same day. Like President Trump standing on a fateful stage in Butler, Pennsylvania, we had dodged a bullet. To put it another way, our four-year national nightmare was over. An election was won, justice was done, and America would be Made Great Again.
Suddenly, the mass censorship, economic incompetence, and the fact that for a while, we were one nation under DEI, all faded away. We were about to pick up where we left off in 2020, under the leadership of our greatest President - Donald J. Trump.
I decided right then and there that my next book would be about the greatest political comeback in history. As I started to write what would become From Mar-a-Lago to Mars: President Trump’s Great Political Comeback, I began to realize something else.
Previously, I authored Trump and Churchill and, subsequent to that, I wrote Trump and Reagan. These books looked at the remarkable comparisons between our favorite President and two remarkable statesmen who shaped the world in the 20th century.
In my new book, I looked at President Trump and us - all of us. I examined not only how President Trump’s great American comeback has shaped and continues to shape our nation and the world, but also how we can change our own lives by learning from President Trump’s remarkable courage as a man, whether in business, politics, or the many other chapters of his unique life.
President Trump’s success in the Oval Office sometimes makes it easy to forget just how far he had to travel in order to return to the place he always belonged.
No President has ever been the recipient of so much artificially conceived adversity at the hands of those who refused to accept the fact that President Trump’s popularity represented a clear mandate for him to drain the swamp and, in so doing, change politics and our national character forever.
His opponents thrive in a swamp of mediocrity and corruption. President Trump, by contrast, thrives on greatness, and he proved that the highest form of greatness is making the nation he loves greater than ever before.
But just as surely as swamp creatures don’t easily surrender their territory, President Trump faced every obstacle one could fathom, both in and out of office.
First, they tried to obstruct his first administration with a Russia hoax, then an impeachment hoax, then they unleashed a pandemic, and when none of that deterred President Trump from his mission to save America, they conducted the dirtiest, most dishonest, and most crooked election ever. When he called them out on this - they impeached him a second time!
But they were not done there. Because President Trump had successfully made it clear to the nation that the 2020 election was conducted under the cloak of villainy, once in power, the Biden administration and its friends in the fake news embarked on the biggest mass censorship campaign in American history.
Their goal was to muzzle President Trump’s supporters by spreading fear among the populace, something that President Kennedy warned against when he said that his administration would always recognize “the value of dissent and daring.”
The Biden administration proved to be the complete opposite. When censoring President Trump and his supporters only strengthened the resolve of the MAGA movement, they waged a sustained campaign of “lawfare” (legal warfare) against him.
They sought to take President Trump off the campaign trail through distracting lawsuits, and when this could not stop President Trump, they thought they’d embarrass him by treating him like a common criminal - mugshot and all.
That mugshot ended up becoming one of the most iconic photographs in history and only helped to solidify President Trump’s reputation as a man of courage who would never give in and never give up.
When this did not work, enemies of President Trump tried twice to take his life. It was on that stage in Butler when President Trump demonstrated that his courage transcended politics and business. His courage is indeed that of a man who is capable of the ultimate form of heroism - the ability to stare death in the face, stand up tall, and tell us all to “fight, fight, fight.”
In giving us these instructions, President Trump has invited us to fight to preserve all that is great about our nation, fight for our freedom, and fight for our loved ones.
The President Trump I discovered throughout the course of writing From Mar-a-Lago to Mars is an even greater man than I thought I knew.
Nick Adams is a Presidential appointee, social media influencer, and best-selling author of the upcoming book: “From Mar a Lago to Mars: President Trump’s Great American Comeback”.
Well written Nick. However lets take a moment and go back to 2019. Who was it that unleashed the Pandemic that killed about 18 million worldwide and at least another Million of Us. Americans, It was the Chinese. Please remember DJT was the only President whoever brought the Chinese to the table. All that in an Election year. They provided all that was needed for the Democrats to set up the Steal. With that said Nick I'll tell you another. That day in Butler everything I watched all the stories but "I came away with one last thought. Jack Ruby almost won again."
It's was a miracle! How many prayers were answered on that most wonderful November day that President Trump triumphed!?!
Now, we, and all those that voted for President Trump need to do our part, whenever and wherever we can; our votes were only the first step!
Thank you for writing your book(s) and putting yourself and your values out there every day! It matters!
